1. Buying credits
Credits are prepaid usage units issued by FinchMotion for creations on finchmotion.com, for use in your FinchMotion account. They have no cash value, are not money or stored monetary value, and are not a gift card. You can buy credits in a one-time credit pack, which is charged once and does not renew, or through a monthly plan, which renews every month until you cancel it (section 3). The credit amount, tier access, price, currency, and any applicable taxes are shown before payment. Credits never expire. Credits cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged for cash, except as required by law.
2. The free welcome offer
Eligible new users in the United States receive 300 welcome credits, once per person. Eligibility is determined at sign-in from your account and your connection; new users outside the United States do not receive welcome credits but can still purchase credits. Welcome credits fund Core videos and image creation. Signing in again, using another Google account, or deleting and recreating an account does not create a new entitlement.
We use account and browser eligibility checks to prevent repeat claims. A grant may be withheld or delayed for review. If a shared device or another issue incorrectly affects your eligibility, contact support@finchmotion.com. Free credits have no cash refund value.
3. Monthly plans
A plan is a monthly subscription. It renews automatically every month and is charged the monthly price shown at checkout, plus any applicable tax shown before payment, until you cancel it. Each paid month adds the plan’s credits to your account once the payment goes through. Plan credits fund Core, Pro and Max videos and image creation. You can have one plan at a time.
| Plan | Price per month | Credits each paid month | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creator | $39.99 USD | 4,500 | 7 days for $1 USD, with 1,000 credits |
| Pro | $89.99 USD | 12,000 | 7 days for $1 USD, with 1,500 credits |
| Elite | $199.99 USD | 40,000 | No trial |
Creator and Pro start with a 7-day trial for $1 USD, charged when you subscribe. The trial fee adds the trial credits shown above once the payment goes through. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the first monthly charge is made 7 days after you subscribe, and the plan renews every month after that. Each account can use a trial once; an account that has already paid a trial fee can still subscribe at the full monthly price. Elite has no trial, and its first monthly charge is made when you subscribe.
You can cancel anytime on the Account page, which opens our payment processor’s customer portal. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or monthly period: your plan stays in place until then, and you are not charged again. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged the monthly price. Credits from a plan never expire and stay in your account after the plan ends. Plan charges, including trial fees, are refunded only as section 7 describes.
4. Credit packs and tier access
Credit packs are one-time purchases: each pack is charged once and does not renew. The Starter credit pack funds Core videos and image creation. The Creator and Studio credit packs fund Core, Pro and Max videos and image creation. The credit quantity, purchase price, and access included are shown before payment.
Tier access does not guarantee that every credit in your balance can fund that tier. A higher-tier creation requires enough eligible credits from a purchase or plan that supports it. Welcome credits cannot be used to cover the difference for Pro or Max.
The $1 intro pack is no longer sold. Credits bought with it stay in your account with the access they were sold with.
5. Video credit requirements
| Video tier | 5 seconds | 10 seconds | 15 seconds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | 100 | 200 | 300 |
| Pro | 250 | 500 | 750 |
| Max | 1,000 | 2,000 | 3,000 |
Each image creation or image edit needs 50 credits. The app shows the required credits before submission. Future pricing changes will be disclosed before a new purchase or creation.
6. Pending and failed creations
Credits are reserved while a submitted creation is being processed. A completed creation consumes the reserved amount. If a creation fails and our generation provider cancels its charge, we release the reserved credits. If the provider keeps its charge for a failed creation, for example when a creation is stopped by content safety checks, including age-related checks, the reserved credits are used and are not returned. The app labels each failed creation as credits restored or credits used. A slow or uncertain job must be reconciled before it is treated as failed. Closing the page does not cancel a submitted generation.
If credits appear missing, include the date and time of the creation and its prompt when contacting support. A technically completed result that differs from your expectations is different from a job that fails to produce an output. Deleting a completed creation does not reverse the generation charge.
7. Purchase and refund questions
Used credits and trial fees are non-refundable. All sales final, with exceptions for billing errors, failed delivery, and legal rights.
We do not offer refunds for a change of mind, unused or partly used credits, a trial fee, a plan’s monthly charge once it is paid, or a completed result that differs from your expectations. To avoid the next monthly charge, cancel your plan before it renews. A failed generation releases its reserved credits only as described above; a creation stopped by content safety checks is not refunded when our provider keeps its charge.
Charges appear on card statements under the name FINCHMOTION, which a statement may shorten (for example FINCHMOTN). The first monthly charge after a trial is marked TRIAL OVER. Report duplicate charges, missing purchased credits, unauthorized purchases, or other billing problems to support@finchmotion.com. Include your account email, order identifier, and a description of the problem. Do not send your full card number or security code. We reply to billing and refund requests within 2 business days. We will investigate and correct confirmed billing errors or failed delivery. Any rights you have under applicable law remain in place.
